Not very long ago, I posted a free pattern for a crochet throw pillow, and now it is time to share a similar pattern for knitters!
I am doing my best to offer both knitting and crochet versions for most of my patterns (when possible), and with a throw pillow, it is definitely possible.
So in today’s post I have: A Knit Throw Pillow Free Pattern

If you don’t really care about all my chatter and would like to find the free written pattern all you have too do is keep scrolling down.

Knit Throw Pillow Free Pattern to make a luxury lookingknitted throw pillow with fringe and inspired by expensive home decor. DIY knit throw pillow.

Bring your home decor to the next level with these super trendy fringe pillows. The highlight of these pillows are 2 rows of fringe, super easy and affordable to make, but with the luxury look of an expensive store bought pillow.

For this pattern I used the Lion Brand Rewind Yarn in the colorway Marbles.

Adding Fringe to Front Panel & Finishing:

Measure 6 inches (15.2 cm) from starting edge, and place a stitch marker on both corners to mark first fringe line.

Measure 12 inches ( 30.4 cm) from starting edge, and place a stitch marker on both corners to mark second fringe line.

Cut yarn to create fringe (about 8 inches/20 cm each strand). With help of your crochet hook, add fringe to the front panel of your pillow, on the rows marked with the stitch markers.

Sew or crochet 3 edges of your pillow cover. Leaving a temporary opening to place pillow form inside the cover. If desired add a zipper to 4th edge of pillow cover.

Insert pillow form. Sew or crochet open edge, or close zipper if one was sewed.
