When no one else wants a smoothie but you

Normally, I would prepare 4 servings or more if I'm making a smoothie.

But, sometimes, no one else wants a smoothie. And this time is because I was having smoothie cravings almost at midnight (beauty of pregnancy, the craving comes any time), of course no one else would want a smoothie that late!

The thing is that the craving is stronger, so I made a serving just for one.

Recipe and Ingredients

* Strawberry and Banana Smoothie for one * 1/2 a banana
* 3 to 4 medium strawberries
* 3/4 cup of milk
* 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

* Cut the banana in chunks
* Wash strawberries and remove stems and leaves
* Place all ingredients in a blender
* Process until all ingredients are combined.

Notes: You can make this recipe vegan by using soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc instead of regular milk.

And if you are wondering what to do with that half banana that is left over, just cut it into chunks for your next smoothie and freeze it to keep it fresh. (We all know bananas can turn brown rather quickly).

And to speed things up, go ahead and add those clean strawberries too in a zip-lock bag, and you have half of the ingredients for your next smoothie for one ready to go.
